Tenants have custom, 24-hour electronic access to the building 365 days a year, offering both security and convenience. On the first floor, where the world's largest press once stood, tenants and visitors now enjoy a four-story indoor atrium, bathed in light and rich with greenery. A 475 gallon saltwater aquarium forms the atrium centerpiece. The atrium is just one of the Cardello Building's attractive and relaxing common areas, where tenants can lunch, meet or temporarily escape the surroundings of the office or the stresses of the day.

Located on the second floor, the North Shore Cafe offers dining and catering services and a wide variety of breakfast and lunch options. The dining room boasts plenty of light and space, yet with an intimate, comfortable atmosphere. During the warm months, patrons enjoy dining in the courtyard, adjacent to the cafe's dining room. In addition to its extensive menu, the North Shore Cafe also offers a selection of lunch specials every business day.

Between the North Shore Cafe and the Fitness Center is an outdoor courtyard. During the warm months, tenants can enjoy lunch at the umbrella covered cafe-style tables, or just find a comfortable bench to soak up the sun. This open space is as much of a garden as it is a courtyard, lush with greenery and flowering baskets.

The Cardello Building Fitness Center, also located on the second floor, is a fully equipped exercise facility, free to tenants and is available seven days a week to all Cardello Building tenants. The Fitness Center includes treadmills, stationary bikes, step machines, circuit training machines, free weights and even an indoor driving range and billiad table. Full men's and women's locker rooms are also available, as well as stereo and cable television.

The Cardello Building property offers direct access to walking and biking trails along the Ohio River, which extends behind the Carnegie Science Center and to the North Shore esplanade connecting Heinz Field and PNC Park.
